November 4, 2008 - a date that will live in history. Being the first African-American voted into an office is a huge accomplishment on its own. Kevin Johnson not only achieved that by being voted mayor of Sacramento, but (perhaps almost as importantly) he became the first player from NBA Jam to be voted into office.

Jesus Shuttlesworth
What other high school player could prompt Jim Boeheim to say, "Michael Jordan could give you 35 minutes of everything, but Jesus could give you 40"? Big State really scored a big one by getting him to sign that letter of intent.

Glen Davis
Ronald Glen Davis added some great enthusiasm off the bench last night in the Celts win over the Cavs. One of the many highlights was Big Baby and his stretch marks leaping on to Wally Szczerbiak's back.

Horace Grant
Horace Grant is remembered fondly for partnering with Scottie Pippen to win back-to-back-to-back NBA championships and for their role in NBA Jam. Most notable, however, were Grant's Rec Specs - of which Tony Domestico now has a pair.

Mark Cuban
Mark Cuban is the NBA's most eccentric team owner to date. And as the man said himself, "David Stern couldn't commission the Penis Patrol!"
